The logistics industry is currently faced with two major challenges: the surging demand for flexibility and the insufficient adaptability of traditional robots. With a large workforce and diverse business scenarios, it serves as an ideal setting for robot application. At present, programmable logistics robots can efficiently handle single tasks, but they are unable to manage flexible and complex working scenarios, falling short of the requirements for intelligent and unmanned logistics in e-commerce and smart factories. The flexible, versatile-scenario working capability of embodied intelligent humanoid robots, integrated with existing intelligent logistics systems, represents the optimal path to achieving unmanned logistics.
Currently, there is a global lack of operational data of embodied intelligent robots. This data, which must be collected through practical training, encompasses multi-dimensional operational information such as visual, force, tactile, motion trajectory, and self-status data. Acquiring it demands significant time and manpower. Damon and AgiBot have partnered to establish the industry's first training and data collection factory, equipped with dozens of embodied intelligent humanoid robots. This initiative aims to conduct high-quality training in diverse logistics scenario and collect operational data. By setting up real logistics operation scenarios for training, we are advancing robots from “mechanical execution” to “intelligent decision-making”, and redefining robot intelligence through “data-driven” approaches.
In the data collection factory of Damon, human-machine collaboration is utilized to achieve scenario-based data-driven operations. This involves precisely simulating the entire process of material handling, unpacking, and sorting, collecting multi-dimensional data to form a closed-loop training system. Based on annotated data and training with embodied large models, the algorithms are continuously optimized to enhance the robots' environmental perception and decision-making capabilities.
Currently, the training and data collection for Damon's humanoid robots are being accelerated. We are about to collaborate with AgiBot to launch the world's first truly data-driven embodied intelligent robot in the logistics operation scenario. At the same time, we are also speeding up the commercial application in clients' sites.
Going forward, Damon will introduce more humanoid robots for training and data collection and will roll out more logistics scenarios for embodied intelligent robots. In the process of robot training and data collection, we will quickly achieve the adaptation of heterogeneous data from different robots and realize the robot skill training such as cross-scenario migration and generalization of operational skills.
Damon will continue to be guided by its innovative philosophy, deeply exploring the intelligent logistics field. Leveraging our core competitiveness, advanced products, and high-quality services, we will drive the global application of embodied intelligent robots in the logistics industry to truly realize unmanned logistics operations.
